Office Assistant
Company- installs blinds in retail and restaurant spaces.
-----------------Day to day duties:-----------
Look at orders on Excel spreadsheet to see what orders are complete and call the stores to make sure the orders are complete. Then mark complete. If not.....go through all your steps
------------------Scheduling---------------
You are scheduling installers and tinters. If there is not one in the area on their approved vendor list, then you must google the shops in the locations closest to the stores and get quotes. You must get three quotes and then give Heather for approval. You must set up V cards for the new vendors.
Additional duties:
Answering phones, making calls etc. , general office assistant. Their biggest clients are Restaurants and Stores.
Looking for someone that is friendly and customer oriented with a good personality to talk to clients-and set up scheduling for installers with their customers.
Must have good attention to detail and be accurate, must be aware of deadlines and A LOT of follow up. You are working in an Excel spreadsheet tracking the activity of remodels, installations, progress of installation, collaborating with the person who does the initial measurements and contacting contractors and stores. There are many moving parts.
