Our expertise lies in designing and distributing floor coverings under our own private label brands, as well as renowned national brands like Disney, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Smithsonian, Thomasville, and Drexel Heritage.
We are seeking a new associate to join our eCommerce sales and marketing team. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Los Angeles, just north of Downtown (Lincoln Heights).
The Associate will collaborate closely with upper management and report directly to our Senior Director of eCommerce Sales. This role involves contributing to account management, marketing campaigns, product management, and listing optimization.
The ideal candidate will excel in effective communication, have a robust knowledge of eCommerce and its platforms, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. This is a "hands-on" position, and we seek someone who is a team player and eager to embrace the challenge of growing a burgeoning business.
Responsibilities include:
· Prepare sales reports; analyze weekly sales trends, inventory and forecasts on a regular basis
· Execute sales planning strategies
· Partner with Sales and Product Development Teams to identify new product opportunities and develop marketing materials for their assigned retail customers
· Manage the day-to-day operations for various Ecommerce platforms and tackle issues as they arise
· Work with the Senior Director of Ecommerce on all sales and marketing strategies to launch new product and increase sales for existing product
· Assist with forecasts and other reports
· Work with the Senior Director of Ecommerce on planning and forecasting for various platforms for new development.
· Manage and oversee all daily customer orders, incoming product orders, and site product listing management (optimization).
· Create, review, and update marketing campaigns and campaign strategies.
Required qualifications:
· 1-5 years of experience in selling and working with retailers
· Experience with 3P online platforms (ie, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowes, Overstock, Target Plus, etc.
· Experience in product development and merchandising
· The ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets using advanced formulations and VLOOKUP’s
· Background in Home Textiles/Fashion Apparel or a similar consumer product category is ideal.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, outgoing personality, and an affinity for / interest in home décor is a must.
· Understanding of social media, a plus
