Administrative Coordinator for Childcare Center

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator for one of our large child care centers who has managerial and leadership skills to join our team You will perform confidential, management level administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Enroll prospective children using our Childware database.
- Screen, arrange interviews, and process hiring protocol.
- Maintain staff attendance, requests for absence, and absence notification.
- Create professional business letters, correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule parent tours, maintain parent contact log, and oversee ongoing dialogue with parents
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Provide support to teaching staff with lesson plan collection, illness & injury logs, overseeing assessment reports, and collecting ages & stages screenings for review by site Director.
- Manage incoming calls for current parents and potential families sent by the receptionist
- Coordinate, schedule, and followup on all contractors who service the building
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
- Use innovative techniques to automate, organize, and streamline administrative tasks to enhance operation of the center
- Advertise, recruit, and conduct screening for potential staff for the site.
- Screen, interview, and recommend for hire prospective employees
- Work collaboratively with Accounting Department
- Prepare documentation for monthly compliance audits with government entities
- Other administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) experience in office administration, office management, Supervisor, or Director or other related fields
- Familiarity with state of the art applications to optimize business operations.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, Emailing, Use of Scanner
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, utilizing technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar
- Professional demeanor and presentation with co-workers, Directors, and corporate guests
- Must be very organized, able to work in a fast paced environment, and require minimal supervision
Education:
- Possess a minimum Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management, Business Administration, Management, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Finance, Behavioral Management, Sociology, Psychology, or Human Services.
