Finance Manager- Construction

A dynamic, growing and stable company is in need of a financial professional to join the team. The successful candidate will have some construction experience and be a proven expert in QuickBooks and Excel. Our client provides an exciting and fast paced environment to work in as well as competitive compensation and performance incentives. If you thrive in the entrepreneurial environment of a small business and enjoy variety in your work, this may be the position for you.

The successful candidate will be a proven expert with QuickBooks and ability to manage annual revenues over Ten (10) million dollars

Responsibilities:

· Records, tracks, evaluates & generates reports on financial performances

· Proved financial advice to the president and senior leadership team

· Examines the finances for opportunities to increase profits

· Manage and utilize QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel

· Responsible for Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable

· Payroll Management

· Up-to-date financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Projects Costs)

· Oversee payroll tax deductions & payments

· Control costs for both the business and engineering software

· Manage day to day office activities including scheduling, correspondence and supplies

· Manage Company Assets

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is Preferred

· 5 (Five) plus years of accounting or finance in a Ten (10) million- dollar construction environment

· Experience in P&L’s, Balance Sheets and forecasting projected costs

· Intimate knowledge of cash management, financial analysis and planning, budgeting, proforma projections and other financial applications

· Experience with AP/AR, job costing, profitability, invoicing and collections

  • Verifiable experience working with entrepreneurial owners providing sound accounting practices and financial management
  • Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and QuickBooks
  • Ability to systemize self and others
