LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

Supply Chain and Logistics is essential and currently demand for capacity is at an all time high for shippers and manufacturers. Running Ox Logistics is a fast paced, speed to market logistics company. We specialize in delivering world class customer service.

The Logistics Specialist role is for aspiring logistics professionals who are goal-oriented, stay focused, stay organized and continuously follow up.

You will be provided with the knowledge, skills and training essential to develop relationships with carriers and clients fulfilling our commitment of managing our clients freight in transit. You will develop a carrier portfolio that will support our clients 24/7/365 transportation needs. This position provides you an opportunity to start a career path in logistics, be at the forefront of a start up logistics company getting in at the ground floor and carve your path to financial freedom.

-Must have an interest in the logistics / freight brokerage industry
-Strong communication skills both written and verbal, some negotiation skills
-Must be detail oriented with time management and multi-tasking capabilities
-Must have strong work ethic, desire to learn and develop strategies in this fast paced environment

Job Responsibilities
-Build a Carrier Portfolio by developing relationships and onboarding "for hire" carriers
-Act as a liaison between clients, manufacturers, shippers and receivers.
-Providing world class customer service to our clients and carriers
-Negotiate rates with carriers and provide clients with rate quotes
-Tracking and Tracing customer freight ensuring all clients freight is on schedule and delivering on time.
-Communicate daily with carriers, team members and customers
-Proactively identifying and solving problems.
