Location:            Orange, CA 92865

Par rate:              $17.88 - $26.54 /hr on W2 without any Benefits

Job Summary: The Materials Coordinator oversees accurately packing and preparing shipments for all company products. Works effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation.

 

Key-Responsibility:

•       Prepares products, spare parts, return parts, and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling

•       Operates and supports machines to properly pack and minimize damage to units/products in the shipment

•       Updates spreadsheet information

•       Moves units/products to the loading dock and/or storage area or correctly loads on freight carrier vehicles

•       Retrieves units from Finished Goods according to the packing slip

•       Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area

•       Ensure compliance with export regulations and company policies

•       Must follow company safety policies and procedures

 

Minimum Qualifications:

•       High school diploma or GED

•       One year of shipping experience

•       Maintain proper shipping supplies

•       Must have basic math skills

•       Basic computer skills (Windows applications)

•       Forklift certification (if expired, will supply training)

•       Lift to fifty pounds

 

Desired Qualifications:

•       Ability to use UPS and FedEx systems to properly ship outbound shipments

•       Flexible work schedule to accommodate overtime as needed

•       Ability to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal forms

•       Detailed

•       Ability to organize

•       Ability to work independently and within a tea
