Position Overview:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive Civil Engineering design services to support the construction of single-family homes and townhomes for regional and national home builders in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 engineers and 3-4 engineering technicians.
  • Prepare Mass Grading Plans, Earthwork Analysis, Lot Fit Plans, Individual Lot Site and Grading Plans, Septic System Design, Stormwater Design and Analysis, and Erosion Control Design.
  • Ensure all designs and plans are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Utilize Autocad Civil 3D to create and modify designs.
  • Obtain and maintain a Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Prepare and present fee proposals to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, other engineers, and company surveyors to ensure project success.
  • Assist other departments to meet project requirements.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management and organizational skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in Autocad Civil 3D.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in preparing fee proposals and managing client relationships.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in residential land development and civil engineering design.
  • Familiarity with the Atlanta, Georgia area and local regulatory requirements.
