Headfarmer is seeking a dynamic Controller to join our team as a Project Consultant providing accounting support for various client projects across multiple industries, from emerging startups to publicly traded organizations. Oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial leadership across client projects. Drive results that enhance client profitability and operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities may include: 

  • Oversee financial operations and accounting functions for client projects. 

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. 

  • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets. 

  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to optimize client financial performance. 

  • Collaborate closely with client teams to achieve financial goals and objectives. 

  • Support audits and interact with auditors as required. 

  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff assigned to project teams. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred. 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership roles. 

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Experience in a consulting or project-based environment is highly desired. 

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
