Objective:

The Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in orchestrating technical project planning, oversight, and management for significant initiatives and implementation projects. The PM ensures alignment between these projects and the strategic goals of both clients and Mountain West Consulting LLC. The successful completion of projects on schedule, within defined scope and budget, while delivering high-quality outcomes is a primary responsibility of the PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess intricate situations and navigate delivery challenges, risks, and modifications
  • Inspire and guide cross-functional teams across various levels
  • Establish and execute change management protocols
  • Outline project scope, roles, and responsibilities clearly
  • Devise processes to oversee and control resources, budget, and potential risks
  • Maintain precise program estimates, timelines, and project schedules
  • Offer recommendations for process enhancements
  • Address conflicts and exhibit strong leadership capabilities
  • Oversee operational facets of ongoing projects, serving as a bridge between project management and project teams
  • Direct the formulation and execution of plans and programs to achieve departmental objectives
  • Engage in strategic planning and identify innovative solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory
  • 5-10 years of experience in Project Management
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration is advantageous
  • Familiarity with computerized project management software is essential
  • Capability to pursue overarching goals while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven expertise in people management, risk assessment, and project oversight
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Desirable Certifications:

  • Proficiency in Sage 300 and Procore software
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Completion of OSHA 10/30 - Construction Safety course is beneficial
  • Any relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory
