Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage & Educate: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Create a Safe Space: Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where children feel loved and secure.
  • Foster Relationships: Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers.
  • Promote Active Learning: Encourage exploration and hands-on activities that stimulate growth and development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is a plus, but a genuine passion for working with children is a must.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, patience, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
