Job: IT Administrator

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Reports to: Director of IT

Work Location: Round Rock, TX

Positions Supervised: None

Responsibilities:

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance related to Microsoft 365 Office and Administration across the organization. This role requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Power Automate, Entra, Forms, Planner, and other specialized applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with specific expertise in leveraging the Microsoft 365 suite to improve business processes and productivity.

  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves Level One problems for users in the network, personal computer software and hardware (desktops/laptops/printers/desk phones) and communicates solutions to end-users
  • Serve as a support contact for all Microsoft 365 related inquiries, issues, and projects within the organization.
  • Administer and manage the organization's Microsoft 365 environment, including user account setup and license management.
  • Implement and maintain project management and task tracking systems using Microsoft Planner, assisting teams in project planning and execution.
  • Provide training and support to staff on using Microsoft 365 applications effectively, including creating documentation and instructional materials
  • Answer and respond to email communications and phone calls within the one-hour response time protocol with a friendly and positive attitude, using proper communication etiquette, and following the CWS Communication Protocol guidelines, as appropriate
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Critical thinking, judgement and decision-making skills
  • Results driven, team player, and can work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment under tight deadlines
  • Maintain customer happiness, respond to customer service issues with a sense of urgency and priority, and provide follow up to prevent similar issues from arising
  • Other duties as assigned

Hours Worked: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or 5 years’ experience in managing servers with demonstrated experience in maintaining applications and hardware.

Requirement: Ability to pass background, drug and driving record check annually, as per company policy and guidelines. Must maintain a valid and unexpired driver’s license that meets company driving standards and maintain current automobile insurance and registration.
