We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a multitasking expert and with experience in phlebotomy and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the smoot operation of our practice and enhance the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner. Provide support during medical examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Phlebotomy: Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with precision and care. Prepare samples for lab testing and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and maintain accurate medical records. Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism.
- Clinical Support: Assist with various medical procedures, including taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, and managing medical supplies.
- Customer Service: Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and efficiency. Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless care delivery. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the practice.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with a strong background in phlebotomy and clinical support.
- Skills: Excellent multitasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail. Proficient in medical software and electronic health records.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to create a positive and compassionate experience for patients.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to supporting team members and contributing to a cohesive work environment.
- Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred. Phlebotomy certification a plus.
