The Emergency Medical Technician plays a vital role in our full-service Emergency Department, catering to patients of all ages. Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited EMT-P program.

Experience: Minimum of one year in a hospital environment as a Paramedic or two years in a pre-hospital setting.

Licenses/Certifications: Current Paramedic certification in South Carolina and National Registry required. BLS certification upon hire; ACLS and PALS within 90 days, and PHTLS within 6 months of hire.

Skills: Completion of a basic arrhythmia or monitor technician course within 90 days or successful dysrhythmia testing.
