Broad Function

 Develop strong customer relationships that lead to becoming a trusted advisor when it comes to printed projects. 

 

Sell printing solutions in the form of printed materials, direct mail, signage, promotional products, and other printing services.

 

At QSL/Instaprint/Technaprint our top priority is to provide service; service through expertise built on generations of print experience, service through innovative solutions to achieve complex goals and service through accountability where ‘good enough’ is not synonymous with success but rather the lowest bar set for us to clear with room to spare.  We are looking for someone who truly loves to serve our clients by being part of a proactive sales process. 

 

Essential Duties

  •  Organize and input request for quote, review estimates for rfq accuracy and quote customer’s complete project
  •  Provide complete and appropriate custom solutions for customer’s print needs
  •  Prospecting new business and build long term-partnerships
  •  Retain and grow existing clients, including cross-selling services to increase relationship value
  •  Communicate with internal departments to complete projects accurately and exceed client expectations
  •  Review proofs for quality and accuracy before sending them to the client for approval
  •  Handle customer feedback (positive and negative) quickly, appropriately and with class
  •  Complete and maintain all paperwork, samples, proofs and assets pertinent to the order process
  •  Continuously increase knowledge base of the trade by keeping up with new paper stocks and technical capabilities

 

 

Required Skills and Abilities

  •  Candidates must have a thorough understanding of the overall printing process including pre-press, press, bindery and mailing
  •  Consistent track record of sales excellence
  •  Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Be extremely organized with acute attention to detail, efficiency and ability to multi task at times
  •  Be comfortable and efficient using computers including the use of MS Office Suite, CRM software, internal scheduling systems, email and navigating the Internet
  •  Exhibit the character trait of continuous improvement and desire to grow your business
  •  Must be willing to work full time, including occasional nights or weekends to meet deadlines
  •  Work optimally in a team environment, acting as a liaison with other departments
  •  Authentically enjoy the whole sales process, including prospecting and meeting sales goals
  •  Manage time effectively to maximize customer touches
