Position Summary:
As a Sales Representative, you will be a key contributor in expanding our business at the Lakeland, FL office. Your role will encompass:
 
  • Identifying and pursuing leads to acquiring new business for the staffing agency.
  • Establishing relationships with decision makers involved in hiring.
  • Creating and delivering engaging presentations showcasing the agency's services.
  • Negotiating contract terms with clients.
  • Achieving successful sales closures.
  • Surpassing sales quotas set by your supervisor.
  • Maintaining contact with existing clients to foster ongoing business relationships.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Servicing existing accounts, securing orders, and cultivating new accounts through strategic planning and organized daily work schedules.
  • Tailoring sales presentations to match the nature of the sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focusing efforts on understanding the existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submitting orders by referencing price lists and product literature.
  • Providing management with activity and results reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analyses.
  • Staying informed about competition by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Recommending changes based on evaluation of results and competitive developments.
  • Addressing customer complaints, investigating problems, and suggesting solutions to management.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
  • Keeping records of area and customer sales history.
  • Conducting weekly quality checks with existing clients.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Effective negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to understand and fulfill customer needs.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about new products and industries.
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a related industry or with similar products/services is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (if applicable to the role) are advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Experience in enterprise and business-to-business sales.
