We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the onboarding and validation of injection molding projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, injection molding processes, and the regulatory requirements specific to medical devices. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budget.
    • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new injection molding projects.
    • Ensure all project deliverables are met according to specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Validation and Compliance:
    • Oversee the validation processes for injection molding projects, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPAP protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other relevant industry guidelines.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Team Coordination and Communication:
    • Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and production staff.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed project documentation, including validation protocols, test reports, and change control records.
    • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure all project documentation is audit-ready and complies with regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
    • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in injection molding technology.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, related field or equivalent experience.
    • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Project management experience preferably in custom injection molding or similar industry.
    • Proven experience with injection molding processes and validation protocols.
    • Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and other relevant industry standards.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet’s, Microsoft Office Suite).

Working Conditions:

  • Travel:
    • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, site visits, and industry conferences
