Essential Job Functions

Coordinate daily appointment schedule with the Center’s personnel, and members/patients. Communicate in advance in a safe and courteous manner.
Conduct oneself in a professional, ethical and well-mannered to enhance customer satisfaction
Assist patients in and out of the vehicles in a safe and well-mannered
Maintain updated the driver’s logs and daily basis
Maintain a proper, professional, and constant communication over the phone and in person with Managers/supervisor. Report any general issue, delay, accident, incident, cancellation, change of route, etc. throughout a day
Maintain in good condition the assigned transport vehicle, including at the start of the work shift, conducting a proper daily inspection on the vehicle assigned, regarding mechanical conditions, safety issues and cleaning; and complete “LOG for Daily Vehicle inspection”. Log will be provided to the OPS manager daily
The assigned transport vehicle must be filled with gasoline every afternoon at the end of the shift.
Prevent any unnecessary spend, keeping high standards on the caring, preservation and maintance of the company’s vehicle.
Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
Effective communicates with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
Maintain a professional image and attitude in regards to clients, visitors and co‐workers.
Complete daily vehicle pre‐trip and post trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Assist clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
Must understand instructions in English (both written and spoken).
Must be able to accurately complete activity logs vehicle reports.
Must be able to understand and operate GPS devices, 2 way radios, and cell phones.
Perform all duties as assigned by All Points Assisted Transportation.
Must be physically able to step up and down steps, safely secure clients for transport, lift up to 50 lbs, and transport wheelchair patients on paved and unpaved surfaces.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
High School or GED required.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License for a minimum of 12 months and good driving record; should not have had two (2) or more moving violations or one (1) accident, where the driver is at fault, during the previous twenty-four (24) months.
Driver should not have had his drivers license suspended or revoked in the previous three (3) years.
The ability to work with individuals from diverse culture levels, ethnic and age groups.
To excel on provide customer service excellence.
Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment maintaining a professional demeanor.
Posses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to operate a computer and the needed software to handle the transportation programs.
Bi-lingual preferred having the ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish.
Ability to effectively present information in on-one situations to patients and other employees of the company.
Abiltiy to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Passing successfully the mandatory trainings, background screesnings and drug tests, in a Reform Act and HIPPA and ACHA requirements.
Ability to apply good judgment in understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and /or graphic form.
Ability to apply common sense when handling diverse situations with patients, other employees and supervisors, as well as in the daily transportation operations.
Exceed minimum age requirements of 23 years.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands to operate tools and equipment and must be able to exert regularly up to 10 pounds of force, frequently exert 30 pounds of force and occasionally exert 50 pounds of force to constantly perform the essential job functions. The employee will be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and pull. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker is subject to noise; there may be sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
Required Education and Experience
1. Must comprehend, and comply with, the All Points Assisted Transportation Employee Handbook, Driver Manual, and Driver Training outline.
2. Exceed minimum age requirement of 23 years.
3. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s license.
4. Clean MVR No more than 1 moving violation or 1 “at fault” accident within the past 3 years.
5. Pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening.
6. Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
