Job DescriptionJob Description

Director of Hospice needed to support hospital system in Moab, UT.  '10k bonus with two-year commitment'

'..Strategic Leadership:

Develops and implements the hospice's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values. Provides leadership and direction to the hospice team.

Clinical Oversight:

Ensures high-quality hospice care delivery, compliance with regulations, and development of clinical policies. Maintains close relationships with medical directors and other healthcare providers. Provides direct patient care involvement and helps cover call shift rotations with team. Oversees bereavement programs. Manages inventory and DME and, collaboration with Pharmacy.

Financial Management:

Develops and manages the hospice budget, monitors financial performance, and ensures accurate billing and reimbursement.

Human Resources:

Recruits, hires, trains, and develops hospice staff, including volunteers. Fosters a positive work environment.

Community Relations:

Builds and maintains relationships with community partners, oversees marketing, and participates in community outreach.

Quality Assurance:

Implements quality improvement initiatives, monitors patient satisfaction, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements...'
