Genesis Systems, Inc. and related entities are a business group that provides Information Technology Services (software development, support, hosting, etc.), CPA services, and other diverse activities. Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 35 years and continues to expand its operations. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify potential customers through research, cold calls and emails to drive new business.
  • Build and nurture relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Utilize marketing software to document daily marketing calls and track all lead activity and opportunities
  • Answer calls and emails from clients, identify the issue and make suggestions for future or new products or services.
  • Represent the organization at key industry events and ensure that all planning, shipping, setup and execution for these events is accomplished in support of other technical employee presentations
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
  • Present our companies to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations
  • Great communication skills along with leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to proactively lead, motivate, speak with and train others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High degree of attention to detail.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or Communications
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the software development or the IT industry is a plus
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
