HR Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service support by answering general HR-related questions via phone or other communication channels.
- Assist employees and managers with self-service HR transactions, guiding them through processes and resolving issues as needed.
- Open and manage case tickets for inquiries related to HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, etc.
- Document all inquiries, issues, and HR transactions in the case management system.
- Input data into Workday and other HR systems to process requests.
- Escalate inquiries to Tier II Functional Specialists when specific expertise is required.
- Participate in continuous improvement workshops, ad hoc projects, and other initiatives as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in Human Resources.
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service or case management role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide empathetic customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Spanish or French Canadian (a plus but not required).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as WD.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
