What You’ll Do:

- Meeting with clients and other professionals
- Engaging in internal meetings with firm attorneys
- Following firm protocols and procedures in the management of assigned case loads
- Preparing affidavits or other documents, such as legal correspondence, and organize and maintain documents.
- Preparing for trial by performing tasks such as organizing exhibits
- Filing pleadings electronically
- Assisting in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial
- summarizing cases
- Preparing exhibits and evidence
- Preparing legal documents
· organizing file materials, sending correspondence, assisting in the preparation of settlement proposal documents, verifying medical bills, liens,etc.
Required Abilities and Skills:
*The ability to autonomously support an Attorney in order to manage a caseload of Plaintiff Personal Injury/Workers' Compensation Clients utilizing a case management system and:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word
- Experience in the preparation of settlement proposals and statute responsibility.
- Experience as a paralegal and at least 1+ years managing a caseload of motor vehicle, workers compensation, premises liability and medical malpractice cases is required.
- The strong desire to have a CAREER and NOT JUST ANOTHER JOB
