Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Closing Shift/Weekend Shift
  • Efficient and courteous operation of the front desk including, greeting members, checking members in, answering phones
  • Scheduling Guest tours
  • Scheduling PT intro sessions
  • Efficient collaboration with other gym departments
  • Learning/running the POS system, including membership/retail transactions
  • Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of fitness
  • Ability to master the facility management and POS software
  • Membership recruitment and sales experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of performance metrics
  • Strong sales and customer service skills

Education and Experience:

  • 1 Year of Customer Service or Front Desk experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Required to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.

Work Environment:

  • Exposed to gym elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, human sweat, foot traffic, and various exercise equipment.
