Our Upland office is hiring a Community Resources Director responsible for marketing and outside sales. We are growing like crazy and looking for someone who can jump into a system quickly while contributing their magic touch. Homecare marketing is a challenge right now, with competitors (and consumers) growing more sophisticated each day In a nutshell, the goal of this position is to further develop and maintain trust relationships with our various referral sources/community partners, which will in turn lead to their referring qualified prospective clients to Oasis. We help hundreds of people every year find peace of mind. Our ideal candidate is "Humble, Hungry, and Smart", so if you like an ongoing challenge, can execute on strategy, and thrive on results through compassionate service, this role may be for you. This isn't a "rocking chair" kind of position.

This vital role requires a dynamic person with a well-rounded set of abilities who is willing to continually learn and expand their skill set and expertise. If you'd be described as a sleepy, "go-with-the-flow" person, you might apply at the knitting store down the street. Seriously though, you'll have to be friendly, creative, and passionately serve our community partners and existing staff, as well as the elderly/disabled clients we serve. You'll need to possess fantastic detail and organizational skills. You must have a hunger for improvement and continually strive to expand the quality of our offering. See? Essential Functions include :

  • Client lead generation (outside sales)
  • Client lead conversion and follow-up (outside and inside sales)
  • Community liaison and consultant
  • Public relations
  • Marketing budget management
  • Effectively track and report activities in Customer Relations Management system
  • Rotate in-office on-call duties, taking emergency/incoming calls after hours as needed
  • Participate as needed in special pop-up projects
Requirements:

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and AVAILABILITY


  • A minimum of 1-2 years Customer Service experience - Relationship Marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • 4 year College Degree (BA/BS) accepted, but not required
  • Entrepreneurial drive, spirit, and ambition; must be a self-motivated, results-oriented person.
  • Is a naturally gifted communicator (written, verbal, public speaking, and presentation)
  • Has no fear of technology. We use our computer systems to the fullest around here; if you are afraid of computers, this is not the place for you.
  • Gets upset when excuses are given
  • Gets stuff DONE
  • Doesn’t allow “Bright and Shiny” to distract them
  • Sets a goal, then takes action to conquer it

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
* Will split time between working in the field and in our Upland office. Time will be split approximately 25% in the office, 75% in the field.
