Business Support Manager

We are seeking a Business Support Manager to join our team in assisting in all aspects of company operations.
This position’s responsibilities include activities in Customer Order Entry, Materials Management, HR, and Financial Management to improving shop floor production and overall company financial performance.
This position presents a great opportunity for a growth-oriented individual with a financial and detailed business management mindset with the desire and ability to learn.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- A willingness and desire to learn and contribute to support of Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Receives customer orders, confirms pricing, and enters orders into the production system.
- Manages invoicing, AR / AP, and banking management.
- Manages payroll, PTO, insurance, and employee onboarding.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, Special Skills, and Knowledge
- Education: 2 or 4-year Business degree and / or 2- or 4-year Engineering Degree is preferred.
Knowledge - Must have:
- Strong oral and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Email, and Word.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, income statement, and balance sheets.
- Self-motivation and good team communication skills.
Additional skills to make the candidate more attractive would include:
- Experience in working with an ERP system.
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment: CNC Mills, CNC lathes, CNC heat treat, and assembly.
- Experience in responding to RFQ’s.
- Experience in procurement.
- Office Manager experience
