THE POSITION:
We are seeking an individual with strong communication, customer skills, and a hard worker for a full-time position. Our ideal team member is reliable and eager to learn about an exciting new program. The position will consist of working with a team of individuals to complete tasks in a fast-paced, team atmosphere. At Encartele, our support technicians are responsible for communicating with both facilities and customers to solve problems. Job responsibilities to include but not be limited to:

  • Answering customer and facility tickets
  • Building equipment and staging hardware as needed for upcoming installations
  • Traveling onsite to a correctional facility for service repairs and installation with a team of support technicians.
  • Managing and monitoring over a hundred different IP endpoints
  • Configuring network equipment and building small scale networks
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their personal IT personnel.

Desired Skillset and Details

  • Communication skills (Phone & Email)
  • Preference given to individuals with cabling experience and IT experience
  • Desire to master networking
  • Basic networking knowledge of TCP/UDP ports, SNMP, IPv4, public vs. private IPs, layer 2 and layer 3 networks
  • Basic knowledge of firewalls and information security
  • Casual work environment with no strict dress code.
  • Flexible scheduling

THE LOCATION:
Encartele is located in LaVista, Nebraska. Just minutes away from the interstate this location makes for an easy commute for anyone living in Omaha or the surrounding areas.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
