About the Role

The Program Manager, Cybersecurity, will oversee the delivery of large-scale technical cybersecurity initiatives that will improve our overall security posture, enhance our products, and ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.

The Program Manager, Cybersecurity, will work with the Portfolio Manager and various stakeholders and vendors (internal and external) and will serve as the gatekeeper and primary POC to drive delivery against the program roadmap and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop full-scale project plans: leading the planning, baselining, execution, and reporting
  • Define scope, workflows, milestones, goals and deliverables, and scheduled project timelines (activities, tasks, dependencies, and resource allocation)
  • Ability to identify and analyze trade-offs and communicate them effectively to project team for decision-making
  • Assemble and coordinate project team members (including project sponsor, vendors, and partners)
  • Manage statement of work, deliverables, and procurement requirements
  • Manage, mitigate, and report project risks and issues (RAID log management)
  • Collaborate effectively with the various stakeholders, including management and program leadership
  • Facilitate program cadence meetings with applicable teams to ensure alignment and seamless tracking of deliverables
  • Monitor and accurately report on progress of the project to all stakeholders through regular status updates, project presentations, etc.
  • Manage, control, and implement project changes to achieve targeted project outputs and as required, re-baseline the project schedule
  • Track project progress against project objectives and determine the cause of deviations from the project plan, along with taking corrective actions to address variations
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on programs and underlying projects
  • Identify program risks, escalate as needed to leadership by summarizing risk details and advising on resolution tactics
  • Manage relationships among all stakeholders, including internal project stakeholders, vendors, and business partners
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on cybersecurity initiatives and address any concerns or questions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards related to cybersecurity
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance the organization's cybersecurity capabilities

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in technical program/project management or in technical delivery
  • Experience leading significant complex programs is a plus
  • Familiar with NIST CSF framework is a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering IT projects that involve cross-functional teams and/or matrix organizations
  • Hands-on experience managing project risks, cost, schedule, quality, testing, communications, procurement, and change management
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other delivery managers, especially those who manage interdependent projects as part of large programs
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders and the Executive team
  • Active PMI certification (PMP) is preferred
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to successfully work across cultures and time zones, driving team cohesion and effectiveness
  • Experience working alongside a wide range of stakeholders, including vendors, regulators, partners, and third parties
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office 365 suit (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience in gaming, hospitality, retail, or similar industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required
  • Superior communication (both written and oral) & interpersonal skills are required
  • Experience using tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Trello, etc. to maintain project documentation and facilitate stakeholder collaboration is preferred
  • 10% of travel is required for on-site workshops, team meetings, vendor meetings, deployment support, etc.

The annual salary range for this position is $111,040 to $145,740. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
