Physical Therapy Coordinator (Home Health)

The position requires initiative, problem solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills. You will need to have the ability to coordinate patient scheduling, assist with staffing, audits and Constant follow-up calls and emails. Also be able to promote enhanced operations through strong communication and computer skills.

Duties:

- Utilizes spreadsheets and databases to maintain information and track logs for the department. Ensures that computer entries are accurate and entered in a timely manner.

- Staffing Patients with therapists or therapy companies in a timely manner.

- Demonstrates flexibility with assignments by managing daily workload and additional assignments as given.

- Invoicing – biweekly

- Obtain Physician signatures by following up with documents after being faxed/emailed out.

- Communicates with therapists, therapy companies, patients and physicians. Responds to requests for information according to established procedures.

- Perform duties in an efficient and timely manner.

- On-call rotation with attractive bonus pay structure

 

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Must be task oriented and computer organized.

- Proficiency in office skills, including typing and computer skills, professional dialogue while providing customer service with a smile.

- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting required.

- previous experience within a therapy department or home health preferred.
