What The Role Entails:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Assistant to contribute to the success of our business by supporting both the Sales and Operations Teams to ensure all activities required to support the end-to-end business processes are successfully executed to deliver outstanding service and maintain excellent customer relationships.
To be a successful Administrative Assistant, you should have excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. You should also possess strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You will apply these skills to handle the flow of custom window covering projects from the initial design phase through installation and on-going service support. You have a professional and friendly attitude with customers, employees, and vendors. You’re a team player and values being part of a professional team in fast-paced and growing company.
Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of delivering first-class customer service experience as you schedule, administer, and organize the workflow of customer orders for shades, blinds, shutters, draperies, exterior awnings and window film.
Don’t worry if you don’t know much or anything about window coverings. We’ll provide on-the-job training and pair you up with our management team who will help you through our processes.
What You Will Do:
- Create and manage project files from inception to completion.
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate individual.
- Process a large volume of customer contracts.
- Data entry and reporting
- Problem solve and use critical thinking skills.
- Happily, jump in to help and perform other duties as required.
- A team player with an eye toward continuously improving.
- Be a constant ambassador of what it means to be the best at something.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Ability to be organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Scheduling and Calendar Management
- Experience with Microsoft Office systems including Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Ability to manage day-to-day client needs.
