Our roofing company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Xactimate Estimate Writer to join our team. As an Estimate Writer, you will play a crucial role in accurately assessing and estimating property damage for insurance claims using the Xactimate software. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate roofing damage, create comprehensive estimates, and ensure that all repairs align with industry standards and insurance policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, insurance claims, and proficiency in using the Xactimate software.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for accurate estimates.
- Conduct thorough inspections of roofing damage, including shingles, underlayment, flashing, and other components.
- Utilize the Xactimate software to input data, create line items, and calculate material and labor costs specific to roofing repairs.
- Research and stay up-to-date with industry standards, pricing, and guidelines related to roofing materials and repairs.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates to insurance adjusters and clients, providing clear explanations of the included repairs and costs.
