Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Korean and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages. This role will involve providing support to our accounting department, assisting with various financial tasks, and facilitating communication between our Korean-speaking clients and English-speaking staff.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
2. Handle inquiries and correspondence from Korean-speaking clients, providing assistance and
information as needed.
3. Translate financial documents, reports, and communications between Korean and English.
4. Assist with the preparation of financial statements
5. Process accounts payable and receivables transactions
6. Prepare and submit invoices and expenses reports
7. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
8. Help with budget preparation and variance analysis.
9. Support the accounting team in preparing financial statements, reports, and presentations.
10. Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
11. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.
12. Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the accounting manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:
1. Fluency in both Korean and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both
languages.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
preferred.
3. Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is a plus
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
7. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
10. Any other duties as needed.

Pay rate:
$23 to $25 per hour. Depending on Experience.
