Job Description: AWA is seeking an experienced and passionate Family Therapist (LMFT, LSW, LMHC) who is experienced in running therapy sessions in Spanish. The ideal candidate will be committed to working with families and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of adolescents and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct family therapy sessions for our PHP and IOP programs.
  • Facilitate weekly parent coaching calls to support parents in managing their adolescents' mental health needs.
  • Lead parent support groups, providing a space for parents to share experiences and gain support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in family therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as LMFT, LSW, or LMHC.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to conduct therapy sessions in Spanish.
  • Experience working with adolescents and their families in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong understanding of family dynamics and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of families.
