About Us: Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) is committed to delivering thorough and empathetic mental health care tailored for adolescents and their families. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are designed to tackle a variety of mental health challenges through customized treatment strategies. We strive to create a nurturing and culturally sensitive atmosphere.
Role Summary: AWA is in search of a dedicated and skilled Family Therapist (LMFT, LSW, LMHC) proficient in conducting therapy sessions in Spanish. The successful candidate will be devoted to assisting families and will possess a strong motivation to positively influence the lives of adolescents and their guardians.
Key Duties:
- Facilitate family therapy sessions within our PHP and IOP frameworks.
- Conduct weekly coaching calls for parents to aid them in addressing their adolescents' mental health requirements.
- Lead support groups for parents, creating a platform for sharing experiences and obtaining support.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to formulate and execute personalized treatment plans.
- Ensure precise and timely documentation of client progress and treatment strategies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to remain informed about best practices in family therapy.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as LMFT, LSW, or LMHC.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, capable of conducting therapy sessions in Spanish.
- Experience in working with adolescents and their families in a therapeutic context.
- Strong grasp of family dynamics and evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of families.
