Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are designed to tackle a variety of mental health challenges through tailored treatment strategies. We prioritize creating a nurturing and culturally sensitive atmosphere.
Role Summary: AWA is in search of a dedicated and skilled Family Therapist (LMFT, LSW, LMHC) who possesses experience in conducting therapy sessions in Spanish. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to family engagement and a genuine passion for positively influencing the lives of adolescents and their guardians.
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitate family therapy sessions within our PHP and IOP frameworks.
- Conduct weekly coaching calls for parents to assist them in addressing their adolescents' mental health requirements.
- Lead support groups for parents, offering a platform for sharing experiences and receiving guidance.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to create and execute personalized treatment plans.
- Ensure precise and timely documentation of client progress and therapeutic strategies.
- Participate in continuous professional development to remain informed about the latest best practices in family therapy.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as LMFT, LSW, or LMHC.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with the capability to conduct therapy sessions in Spanish.
- Experience in providing therapeutic support to adolescents and their families.
- Strong grasp of family dynamics and evidence-based therapeutic methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of families.
