Our client is a manufacturer of electrical power monitoring hardware and software. A family-owned business, they make hardware and software to measure and analyze power quality measures for our data center and industrial manufacturing customers. They are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager in Northern Virginia.
Salary: $80,000 / year
Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Warehouse Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse operations systems by monitoring process workflow strategies and implementing changes accordingly.
- Direct all warehousing, order fulfillment, import/export and shipping/receiving operations.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safe operations.
- Meet warehouse operations goals by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
- Train, manage, and develop a warehouse team, including monitoring performance and conducting evaluations.
- Use of ERP systems to track operations and provide executive reporting.
The Ideal Warehouse Operations Manager Will Have:
- 5-10 years of warehouse management experience in global import/export and logistics.
- Prior experience building and managing warehouse teams.
- Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment software
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving through FedEx, UPS, DHL
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
