Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with Café Managers and staff to ensure outstanding restaurant operations, providing leadership and support to uphold high customer service standards.
  • Guides Café Managers in formulating business strategies to enhance restaurant profitability.
  • Monitors and assesses financial performance, ensuring compliance with sales growth, food pricing, and labor cost standards.
  • Facilitates ongoing training for managers and staff on operational protocols and personal development.
  • Mentors store managers on employee management, including disciplinary actions and development opportunities through both individual and group training sessions.
  • Ensures adherence to cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing regulations.
  • Proactively addresses performance challenges and assists in recruiting restaurant staff and management as necessary.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual sector is required.
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve operational excellence in both front-of-house and back-of-house settings.
  • Proven experience managing costs related to goods and labor.
  • Strong understanding of P&L statements and budgeting processes.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Servsafe Certification is preferred.
  • Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry is essential.
  • District Manager Training Certification is required to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
