Your Role as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor:
  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers by managing the receiving, processing, and distribution of merchandise and supplies.
  • Oversee daily operations and activities of warehouse staff.
  • Support management in shift coverage and operational execution.
  • Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Adhere to delivery timelines, ensuring efficient processing of shipments.
  • Utilize technology to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Facilitate the transportation of orders and returns between the warehouse and retail locations.
  • Identify and manage damaged or expired products.
  • Implement product rotation based on expiration dates.
  • Follow all established security and safety protocols.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks and responsibilities within the warehouse.
  • Maintain organized storage of fixtures and equipment.
  • Support inventory processes and uphold bin location standards.
  • Ensure accuracy in ticketing according to company standards.
  • Review incoming orders, addressing discrepancies with management.
  • Process information from ordering and receiving forms in accordance with company protocols.
  • Update records in the Retail Management System as necessary.
  • Manage product stocking, dating, rotation, and temperature checks.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between team members and management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience required; warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management is essential.
  • Proven track record in receiving, storing, and delivering inventory.
  • Familiarity with Excel or similar database management systems is required.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items as needed.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical capability to perform job functions, including bending and standing.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including delegation and coaching.
  • Ability to interpret delivery and purchase documentation.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to adhere to job procedures and management directives.
