Job Summary: Bay Baby Produce in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking an Office Administrator Assistant during our harvest season. This will be a temporary position that is full time with overtime available. We are a fast-paced, short-season producer/packer that ships all over the United States, Mexico and Canada. Our workplace culture is positive and productive, and we are seeking employees who are ambitious, hard-working, and ready to get the job done The right person will need to be available for 8-hour shifts, up to 7 days/week for 8-10 weeks, from noon - 8 pm, mid-August through November. Bilingual required (English/Spanish).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Close the office after daily operations
  • Answer phones, emails and visitor inquiries
  • Greet vendors, customers, and business associates
  • Assist in preparation for tradeshows and sales travel
  • Utilize various office equipment including computers, phones, copiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets
  • Maintain injury logs and complete incident reports for accidents
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Prepare FedEx shipping labels and schedule pickups
  • Assist new employees with digital onboarding platform and conduct bilingual orientations
  • Assist with paperwork for employee housing and facilitate housing search
  • Ensure seasonal staff compliance with clocking procedures
  • Maintain office inventory list
  • Maintain general office tidiness
  • Assist field truck drivers with paperwork and provide directions to drivers and customers
  • Other duties as assigned
