HeplerBroom LLC, a large defense firm, is currently seeking an Legal Support Clerk to join the talented litigation team in our St. Louis Office.

Experience at HeplerBroom will include:

  • Reception duties
  • Process office mail, scan, and route it to appropriate person
  • Index document productions, documents we receive from clients, documents sent to experts, etc.
  • Prepare case binders
  • Enter attorney and paralegal time
  • Proofreading and formatting documents and letters
  • Prepare letters to clients
  • Asist with open and closed file process
  • Assist with overflow projects for various teams as necessary
  • Assist with request of new and updated W-9 forms
  • Assist with follow up of medical records request
  • E-file overflow pleadings

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1+ years of professional office support role experience
  • Litigation support experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects and meet internal and external deadlines
  • The willingness and ability to receive work from all levels of the organization
  • The ability to anticipate needs and manage changing priorities
