The Electrical Wire Assembler works closely with other electrical, mechanical and software engineers to design, develop, and support complete systems and subsystems. Available shifts include: 1st shift from 8am to 5pm Responsibilities of the Production Technician :• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Use handheld tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters and drills
• Perform soldering in a subassembly operation
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations
• Perform quality work checks to assure the product meets established standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Rework and/or repair according to engineering specification changes
• Contributes to team effort completing assigned tasks and seeking out new tasks to advance the team’s goals
• Able to work in lean, production environment completing tasks on time
• Communicates effectively with others and can function and get along in a team environment.
