Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team at Salcomp Energy USA. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of production equipment and systems within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment.
  • Repair and install production equipment as needed.
  • Conduct breakdown analysis and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Oversee or perform general housekeeping and upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology.
  • Direct activities of outside contractors working on assigned lines.
  • Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards.
  • Work independently under limited supervision and document work schedule and tasks completed.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Completion of an applicable technical training program and 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • 2+ years of experience in operating and maintaining a large-scale manufacturing facility.

Working Conditions

  • Incumbent must be able to operate a computer.
  • Lift/carry 40lb. or less, push/pull 12lbs. or less.
  • Stoop, bend, stretch, and reach outward and over their head.
  • This position may require long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
