Job Description:

 

Position Description: The Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensive forecasting, managing customer and sales interactions, overseeing order and inventory management, and conducting ad hoc analytics. The role requires strong analytical skills, solid business judgment, and effective communication to support senior management, sales teams, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting:

  • Develop independent models for evaluating item-level forecasts and analysis, considering factors such as total end-consumer consumption forecasts, brand/product history, inventory levels, and marketing programs.
  • Create point-of-sale projections based on seasonality, planned promotions, distribution, and price point.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and analysis for senior management to communicate and track business financial results and goals.

Customer & Sales Interaction:

  • Daily interaction with account planning analysts to manage inventory, order flow, and forecasts.
  • Lead periodic collaborative meetings with sales, buyers, and inventory analysts.
  • Develop presentations for business review meetings, toy fairs, and ad hoc purposes.

Order / Inventory Management:

  • Provide order recommendations for domestic and direct import and create store-level order suggestions/writing to maximize in-stock levels at the account level.
  • Monitor and analyze item-level inventory.

Ad Hoc Analytics:

  • Generate reports as requested to support the sales team, customer needs, and other business requirements.
