The ideal candidate will possess the following experience or skills:

Job Purpose

The Technical Support Assistant is required to assist in carrying out daily operations and functions of the technical department. Assist the Technical Support Team with troubleshooting, testing, and shipping of equipment to customers. The Technical Support Assistant will also help with maintaining and organizing specialized inventory for the support team and all shipping needs. The Technical Support Assistant will also help with producing specialized documents for testing purposes.

Responsibilities

Maintain and program equipment before shipment
All final shipping to customers
Assist technical department with daily tasks such as troubleshooting.
Maintain and organize inventory and warehouse
Perform and help document equipment testing
Planning and Organizing

Maintain Technical Department equipment database and parts inventory.
Prepare, assemble and test all mobile air stations and related equipment prior to sale
Problem Solving

Specialized equipment testing for product development
Test and troubleshoot defective equipment
Network troubleshooting
Verify problems with equipment receivers for repair
Key Contacts/Relationships

Technical Support Team
Sales Support Team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job

Preferably a basic knowledge of radio communication devices and IP based Networking
Education/Training Requirements

Minimal: High School Diploma
Systems/Software Applications Used

Microsoft Outlook (Basic Knowledge)
Microsoft Excel (Basic Knowledge)
Physical Requirements Needed

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Hand and eye coordinator
Must be able to work within warm climate conditions
