Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an IT support technician for a 6-9 month project in the Green Valley area supporting the day-to-day operations of the FICO infrastructure, including all hardware, software, applications, phones, security, and any other technology-related systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: 

  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards.
  • Keeps the IT Department Manager well-informed of activities and recommends corrective action.
  • Primary technical support for Ranch
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and user-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot basic networking and communication issues
  • Troubleshoot issues with VOIP system and cell phones.
  • Setup and maintain user workstations.
  • Will install, rebuild, repair and update workstations.
  • Maintains centralized log of Desktop, Laptop, printers, and telephone-related issues
  • Maintains systems documentation
  • Resident expert on general office software systems and procedures.
  • Make recommendations for procurement of equipment, obtain competitive pricing from vendors and present to the IT Department Manager.
  • Support various department as needed and as directed by the IT Department Manager, to ensure smooth flow of operations and accurate accounting of expenditures

  •  Knowledge of basic Networking, MS office software, and printer configuration

REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
  • A typical way to obtain the requisite knowledge and abilities would be:
  • An associate’s degree or technical degree in IT or Networking with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent (required) with a minimum of 5 years

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possession of a valid Driver’s license.

Proof of a good driving record, free from multiple or serious violations or accidents, and in accordance with any standards of FICO’s insurance carrier.

Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when on call or in the event of an emergency or other significant operational requirement.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting
  • Work is indoors in seasonally cooled and heated area.
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasionally may work in plant environment with moving industrial equipment and where noise level may be loud
