Patient Care Technician at Wood County Hospital

Wood County Hospital is actively looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician to become a vital part of our OPS Department. This position is essential in providing both direct and indirect patient care across various age groups under the guidance of healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, managing medical equipment, and performing clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and record patient health status
  • Assist in the transportation of patients
  • Oversee the proper utilization and upkeep of medical apparatus

Shift Information:

Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours weekly

Shift Timing: Day Shift, 7:30/8:30 am - 4:00/6:00 pm

Work Days: Monday through Friday

Essential Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ohio STNA certification is advantageous
