Essential Responsibilities:

· Develop new contacts with external organizations to expand employment opportunities and externship affiliations agreements for students and alumni.

· Place students on externship sites and assist students with job placements.

· Meet weekly and monthly metrics such as placements, affiliations agreements, workshops…

· Perform mock interviews with students, resume building, and career development workshops.

· Coordinate job fairs and recruitment events on campus.

· Organize and attend the Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC) board meetings.

· Coordinate and participate in all graduations and new students’ orientations.

· Maintain and collect student documentation in order at all times.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Excellent communication skills: oral and written.

· Strong skills in both verbal and written English are required.

· Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus.

· Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)

· Demonstrate public speaking abilities.

· Comfortable being measured and being held accountable for goals.

· Resourceful self-starter who works independently with little or no supervision.

· Positive and clear communication skills.

· At least 1 year of college credits completed.
