Position Overview:

Are you an energetic, motivated individual with a knack for sales and a desire to grow your career? We want you to join our inside sales team As an Inside Salesperson at DataComm Electronics, you’ll be instrumental in building relationships with contractors and driving sales in the new construction industry across the country. Your role will be pivotal in expanding our client base and achieving our sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Outreach: Proactively call on contractors in the new construction industry to identify potential clients and generate sales opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Utilize our CRM and construction programs to track and manage leads, build a robust pipeline, and follow up on opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to strategize, share insights, and close deals effectively.
  • Growth & Learning: Embrace opportunities for professional development and contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Energetic & Fun: Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every interaction.
  • Sales Skills: Previous sales experience is a plus, but a strong desire to learn and succeed is just as important.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and construction programs; training will be provided.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and support your colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Work Schedule: Available to work in the office Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Competitive base salary with potential for additional earnings through commissions.
  • Commission Structure: Earn commissions based on performance and sales achievements.
