Help us help others:

We are searching for an Office Coordinator for our IDD Services who will provide numerous and varied administrative services to help keep our Kerrville SC team organized, on track, and optimally functioning. The Office Coordinator represents the Kerr SC office by phone and email and will complete tasks from filing, data entry, documentation, and tracking with a high level of customer service. The Office Coordinator will maintain equipment, complete various purchasing for the office, and organize meetings, travel, and events. This supportive team member will contribute to the overall goal at HCMHDD to support and encourage the success of individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will get to:

  • Represent HCMHDD in a professional and friendly manner by phone, relaying pertinent messages appropriately and escalating calls when necessary.
  • Complete purchasing, track consumer finances, assist with budget tracking, and complete vendor logs and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate travel.
  • Organize files, do data entry, and complete various typing assignments as assigned.
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintain MHDD equipment and track adaptive aids funds.
  • Complete additional administrative duties as assigned.

You’ll definitely need:

  • High school diploma, GED, or competency test with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • A valid Texas State Driver’s License.
  • Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel to individuals when necessary.

We’ll also want you to:

  • Have two years of experience in an administrative role (experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus).
  • Employ excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively.
  • Maintain a well-organized calendar, files, and prioritize effectively ensure completion of duties.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and with a high level of typing and communication proficiency.
  • Sustain a calm demeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and care to your team.
  • Work autonomously to complete assignments.
  • Work cooperatively with others and be punctual and consistent in attendance because your people will rely on you
