Touchstone is looking for an Account Manager for a client-specific team. This program account takes advantage of our entire line of services from BrandEQ and merchandise to ecomm platforms and inventory & fulfillment. The team needs a high-energy individual in the Cleveland area who can work directly with the client on-site to ensure its program success.

The Account Manager’s extensive product and service knowledge, along with their understanding of industry trends, will help them communicate with the client, understand its needs and ensure that the expectations of the contract are met. This role may also assist in developing sales strategies and establishing quotas. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills.

The most successful candidates would be located in Cleveland due to proximity to the client. While location is not mandatory, candidates located in Cleveland will be given preference.

Position Responsibilities

  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs, while simultaneously supporting the efforts of the entire Account Management Team to which they are assigned
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of Touchstone’s products and services to prospective buyers
  • Compiling and analyzing data to find trends
  • Developing sales strategies and setting quota
  • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends
  • Maintaining and growing a database of contact information by client
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience
  • Handling complaints and negotiations
  • Acting as a client advocate with a constant focus on developing a loyal client base

Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, communications or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts and projects while looking for new opportunities within existing client base
  • Ability to collect, track and analyze large amounts of data
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally with both customers and third parties
  • Extensive product knowledge within the sales promotion/advertising specialty industry
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Excellent active listening skills
