Communications and Data Specialist (Full-Time, hourly, non-exempt)

Position open now.

As a Communications and Data Specialist, you will collaborate with the School and Regional Marketing, Admissions, and Communications teams to develop and deliver effective brand messages to all our stakeholders, including parents, students, and key influencers, within the school and broader community. Your role encompasses the entire Parent Experience Journey, ensuring that every phase is communicated effectively and consistently.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing all school communication activities that highlight the school's unique identity that is consistent with our brand persona. Additionally, you will manage our CRM systems to maintain accurate data and generate insights that will drive and refine our communication strategies.

Internal and External Communication:

-          Develop and implement communication strategies that ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

-          Create and manage content for various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, press releases, visuals throughout the campus, email, and text messaging.

-          Ensure all communications align with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.

-          Coordinate and facilitate effective internal communication to ensure employees are informed and engaged.

-          Manage external communications to build and maintain positive relationships such as blog posts, website content, newsletters, and social media.

-          Plan and execute communication campaigns that support business objectives and enhance our brand reputation.

-          Implement campaigns across the school, including MIT, Juilliard, UNICEF, and Global Campus.

-          Work with the regional and central teams to optimize SEO and implement recommendations for improvement.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

-          Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives.

-          Prepare and present regular reports on communication metrics and CRM data insights to senior management.

-          Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance communication effectiveness.

-          Support the development of strategies and tactics for the coming year.

-          Analyze enquiry funnels and customer intent projection.

-          Measure ROI of online and offline advertising and marketing campaigns

-          Report on key marketing and admissions KPIs including leads, tours, applications and enrollments, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement.

-          Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)

-          Oversee the administration and maintenance of our CRM system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

-          Analyze CRM data to generate insights and reports that inform communication strategies and business decisions.

-          Train and support staff in using the CRM system effectively.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a communications role, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.

- Strong understanding of CRM systems and data management best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to create compelling content and adapt messaging for different audiences.

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
