Global entertainment studio looking to hire a Sr. Business Systems Analyst with strong line of business knowledge.
– Led and mentored junior-level analysts and assigned specific supporting tasks with evaluation.
– Project Managed the ERP conversion.
– Performed analysis and documented new business and system requirements to map into financial modules.
– PM financial initiatives, identified and communicated with stakeholders, risk assessment and mitigation, defined and drive studio lot pipeline schedules.
– Identified and documented gaps in the business processes and proposed new strategies.
– Led Directors and VP initiatives with key Finance stakeholders on technology strategy and timelines.
– Organized bi-weekly meetings with cross-functional users to facilitate discovery sessions on business improvements and technical requirements.
– Facilitated user acceptance testing and provided business rules, process mapping, requirements mapping, workflows, and end-user training documentation.
– Instructed offshore development team on new requirements and represented the team for change management and security
Responsibilities for business systems analyst senior
- Assess the validity and reliability of information/data, weighing its strengths and weaknesses when used to inform decisions
- Provides relevant Contribute to system/process discussions
- Preparing PowerPoint presentation for upper management• Drive innovation in the mobile service management space
- Consult with BT team members and review solutions proposed for application enhancements and new applications
- Provide consulting services to business users on new initiatives and application enhancements (medium to large initiatives of varying complexity)
- Conduct research, develop, and present feasibility studies, requirements, and proposals on strategic initiatives
- Serve as project manager on small to medium-sized projects
- Interface with the client and epsilon technology delivery teams, supporting the design and delivery of medium to large scale database solutions
- Take part in requirements gathering sessions via client interviews
Qualifications for business systems analyst senior
- Experience in managing conflicting demands in situations of pressure, where priorities are rapidly changing, whilst providing a high quality service in a demanding customer environment
- Ability to mentor more junior Business Analysts
- Experience of Business systems strategy in a broadcasting or media environments
- Knowledge and experience of either Finance, Procurement, HR or other business systems best practices
- Understanding of a complex global ERP landscape – including interfaces
- Experience of working in a Product Management environment
